R60: High-Quality Stainless Steel Sinks
The sinks in the R60 series are made from AISI 304 stainless steel (1.4301), known for its high nickel content which ensures excellent corrosion resistance and long-lasting durability. Upon request, this type of sink can also be supplied in AISI 316 steel (1.4401), a material that provides even greater protection in particularly aggressive or marine environments.
A distinctive feature of the R60 basins is their intermediate heat treatment, which can be carried out through recrystallization annealing or solution quenching. This process plays a fundamental role: besides eliminating structural alterations caused by plastic deformation, it ensures the walls have superior straightness, essential for achieving easier and more precise welding, thus improving the quality and final aesthetics of the product.
Regarding the surface finish, the standard tumbling treatment represents a perfect balance between refined aesthetic appearance and excellent corrosion resistance. However, to meet specific requirements or particular aesthetic preferences, we offer a wide range of additional finishes to choose from: pickled, electrolytic, tampico, Scotch Brite, ceramic bead blasting and PVD coatings, all designed to suit different application contexts and tastes.
Finally, the versatility of the R60 basins is also evident in the possibility to customize thicknesses, heights, and other dimensions, thus allowing precise responses to the most diverse customer needs.
